Events

I love taking pictures of competitions from showing horses to goats or sports events. Capturing those transformative times on the road of life is important and special for all involved.

Growing up in the country, the fair was a highlight of the year. In 2022, I was hired to take pictures of the Allegan Fair youth shows. Before that, I would take pictures of events at Calvin College as well as sports and events as the school photographer at my schools in Tanzania and Thailand.

The gallery photos will usually not show participant faces unless they are in large groups or close friends and family. When I shoot the events, there will mostly be pictures showing the faces.
